Jesus thought kids were pretty important. So we want to make sure that every child who comes to IBC knows just how much they are treasured by their Creator. Sunday mornings are a special time when we teach children about God and the Bible in a fun, energetic way that helps make faith come alive in their hearts. Whether your children are infants or finishing up elementary school, KingdomKids partners with you "to train your children in the way they should go!"
If you have ever wondered if there is a ministry that will help instill the Word of God in children, than we are happy to let you know that IBC hosts the international program called AWANA. This program focuses on teaching children Scripture memorization and biblical fellowship, as well as helping them begin experiencing what living in faith together is all about.
Motherhood is a full time job that can drain your energy and strength. This is especially so during those first early years of childhood. Mom to Mom is a biblically-based parenting program that uses teaching, mentor moms, study and workshops to provide encouragement and practical help to mothers of all ages. Mom to Mom runs on Thursdays from 9:30-11:30 AM in the downstairs fellowship hall, beginning on September 16. Newcomers are welcome anytime! Childcare is provided, homeschooling room available.
